What's Featured? content and articles
The CIM Internet Education Series will append content from the What's
Featured? articles of the website to further explain concepts
on inculturating the Catholic faith that may be mentioned in the
abstracts of the Series. These concepts, which may be difficult
and hard to understand at first, will become clearer when placed
within the context of the application of the 36th World Communications
Day Message and the spirituality being promoted by the Holy Father
during his papacy. Also, if we include in this context the teaching
of the Church - especially from Vatican II - of sanctifying the
socio-economic, political, and cultural spheres of the world, it may
clarify some things which may not be easily understood. Please be
informed that the concepts written in this website are not officially
recognized by the Catholic Church. You are therefore free to take
what you believe is true and to discard what in your opinion may
not be in line with the official teachings of the Church. The spirit
though of these concepts are influenced greatly from a theology
school that is spearheaded by Louvain theologians and professors
adopting the Vatican II teaching to our contemporary times. The
theology from this 'school of theology' as reputed is noted to be
avant-garde, meaning new and experimental ideas and methods. The
webauthor therefore recommends that you do not readily absorb
everything but you yourself filter what you read and sift what is
in line with the traditional theological line of the Vatican from
that which may veer and divert in direction from the traditional
line of thinking.

Appending content on Catholic webauthorship
The Series will append content that are related to all topics that
explore the concept of Catholic webauthorship. Analyses will also be
done as regards these content so as to better know what is involved
really in the process of inculturating the Catholic faith in the
Internet. There are 31 articles written that relate to the concept
of Catholic webauthorship. They are outlined in the two-webpage of
What's Featured? These concepts are also briefly and given more
clarity in presentation in the 9 Pentecost Central webpage. It is
best to read first about these concepts in this webpage before
embarking on a study of the 31 articles at What's Featured? The
language used in the 9 Pentecost Central webpage is lighter and
easily-handled. The 31 articles at What's Featured? are meant for
heavy reading and deep study. The Series therefore will connect
what is now being applied by the Internet world in their websites
with the appended contents on Catholic webauthorship. It is the
hope of the webauthor that those who would wish to learn more of
the focus of evangelization on the Internet really study the
documents of the Vatican on the Internet. Many of them are
republished in this website. This is important so that the Catholic
webauthor may not be uprooted from the Vatican teachings
by the pull of many strong Internet influences that are abounding
in the world wide Web.

Simplifying concepts on inculturation of Catholic faith
The main concept you may be reading a lot in this Series is Catholic
webauthorship. This concept really means the writing of Catholic articles
using the language and techniques of the Internet. There are other
concepts that flow from this basic meaning which have to do also with
the use of the Internet for proclaiming the gospel. These other
concepts are: internet niches, optimization, webauthor excellence,
catholic internet, webnetwork, missiology for communicators,
anthropology of communication, theology of communication, and the
title itself of the website: catholic internet mission.
The task of this Series is to simplify these concepts and to make them
more understandable to anyone who may not have a theological
framework or background to work from. Thus, in a way, the Series is
also an education into the theology of the Church but within the context
of training and education derived from the theology school of Louvain.
The Series will explore the concepts, see where they are at in actual
application on the Internet, judge it according to the teaching of
the Church in relation to the use of the Internet ethically, and
then purify it of anything that is not within the traditional line
of thinking of the Church.
