 CIM Internet Education SeriesThe CIM Internet Education Series in Catholic Perspective
Part of the CIM Internet Education Series will include the articles that have been previously written on Catholic webauthorship. However, these articles will be edited to integrate the knowledge that are constantly updating itself on the Internet. Though the material in these articles were originally meant for deep study, it will edited so as to be lighter to understand. This will be included in the May 2005 issue of the Series. To learn a way of proceeding in integrating the Catholic faith with the language of the Internet, you may be interested to subscribe to this newsletter-type series. It is free. A link will be made available through the rss feed. The first issues of the Series will be meant for a privileged audience. Then the succeeding Series will be made available to all. The way to get to this Series is to subscribe through the rss feed. This CIM Internet Education Series is meant for all Catholics who wish to learn how to evangelize and proclaim the Gospel using the language of the Net. The RSS Feed Once subscribed to the May 2005 issue, the RSS Feed xml coding will be made available to you through that issue. It will help you get the xml coding for any of your favorite News Aggregator or Feed Reader. Also, it will give subscriber buttons for such Feed Readers and Aggregators as the My Yahoo! webpage, Bloglines, and NewsGator. For a simpler way to subscribe to the rss feed, you can use the My Yahoo! web page. If you already have a Yahoo! account, all you need to do is to open your My Yahoo! webpage at http://my.yahoo.com Once there, you will be able to "add content", i.e., to add RSS Feeds that will itemize news and information for you to browse and read. Once you click on the "add content" it will prompt you to type in the xml code of the RSS Feed you wish to subscribe to. To get the RSS Feed code of this Series, just type in the url, http://www.pcentral-online.net/ie-series.xml This will subscribe you to the feed of the Series. Light abstracts for easy reading and study The CIM Internet Education Series are meant to be light study of the Internet and how the gospel can be integrated through the use of Net language and terminology. This Series is to be considered a starter method which you can get ideas from. This CIM Internet Education Series will serve as a way of proceeding in seeing the possibility of propagating the Catholic faith through the language, the culture, and the world of cyberspace. As of this point of time, the Series is now moved to "Information and Communications Blog" as a blog post and integrates also the What's New? feature of the web site. The Series can be followed as usual from the rss feed. The blog post will be now known as the CIM Net Educ. series and will be published once a month.
